Title | Bucchero Handle Fragment |
Description | The fragment preserves portions of a handle, possibly of the potnia theron type. The fragment has four sides and is roughly square in shape, and tapers in thickness as it moves away from the vessel attachment point. The break edge at the attachment point preserves what appears to be portions of the finished, interior wall of vessel. This edge terminates in a slightly curved lip where the vessel wall begins. |
