Excavation continued in locus 1 .  The high areas in the locus were picked and the trench was cleaned up. Locus 1 was closed.  No pottery sherds were found.  Approximately a dozen small well-worn fragments of terracotta was recovered.  Two special finds were made.

The area directly below locus 1 was designated locus 2 .  Opening photos were taken and co-ordinate elevations measured.

Opening co-ordinate elevations for locus 2 :

NW(80-E/43-S): 26.24 m. above absolute elevation (39 cm. below datum point)

NE(84-E/43-S): 26.29 m. above absolute elevation (34 cm. below datum point)

SE(84-E/46-S): 26.08 m. above absolute elevation (55 cm. below datum point)

SW(80-E/46-S): 25.99 m. above absolute elevation (64 cm. below datum point)

The soil of locus 2 is dark olive-brown in color and loose in consistency.  There are numerous roots in this locus like the previous locus.

A pick-pass was carried out throughout the entire locus, which was lowered approximately 5 cm.  Approximately a dozen small well-worn fragments of terracotta was recovered.  Four sherds of pottery were found.  There are numerous fist-size and smaller stones in this locus.  Two special finds were made.
