Began cut across Locus 14. Several large ipeces of tile were found towards the south end, possibly indicating the tile spread in meters 51-52S 161E did continue across the trench, only going deeper. Also, baulk wall trim for T22 W ext continued. A break was taken every 2 hours to prepare T27 for a magnatometer survey tomorrow.

Continued cut across locus 14. The soil still appears to be the same, though less bronze is appearing and the charcoal is thinning out as well. The average depth of locus 14 at the end of the day was 165 cm b.d.
The finds for the day were all from locus 14. 1 cassetta of terracotta and 1 full latte box of small worn pieces of ceramic were found, along with several large pieces of bones and approx. 7 fragments of bronze. There were four special finds.
