Fragment of Italo-Corinthian sherd with paint
In grid I 39 while cleaning down the adjacent area a large piece of fine bucchero and a spindle whorl were found.
In grid J 36 above the yellow soil stratum was a tile fall- in the tile fall was an entire cover tile preserving the attachment scar for an antefix. When taken down to the magazzino the tile was found to join an antefix excavated by J. N. (JN I, 1972, cat. no. 19720235) in grid M 35.
