Approx. 2-3 cm of sand was placed over the remainder of the T-26 1982 area (including meters R-W/62-64, see GD II ).  The unfired cover tiles in UVW/71-73 were covered with ~10 cm of sand.  On top of the sand, the entire T-26 1982 area was covered with 15-20 cm of dump soil.

Also, the area composed of the "little rooms" to the north of the fortification wall in T-25 1982 ( see GD I ) was covered with ~2-3 cm of sand and then with 15-20 cm of dump soil.  This concludes work on the site this season.

Pottery was discarded and buried in T-23 1981 meters D/10-12 (see map, MT VII p. 29 ).  Pottery buried was "MT V, VII, VI" T-26 1982, T-25 1981, Rect 22 1980, T-26 1982 pithos, and one cassetta of

pottery of unknown origin found in the magazino.
