Trench Layout
Trench Layout:
CB-48 will be a 3 x 2 m trench located in the south western part of the CB area. CB 38 and CB 39 are located approximately 30 meters west and slighlty south and north, respectively, of CB-48. The boundaries of the trench will be triangulated off two points shot on a transit. The two points are: 80 W / 105 S, and 80 W / 108 S. These points are on the master grid. The coordinates of the trench are as follows:
- NW: 80 W / 105 S
- NE: 78 W / 105 S
- SE: 78 W / 108 S
- SW: 80 W / 108 S
A datum point with an absolute elevation of 33.11 m will be established on a tree off the northeast corner of the trench.
