In the process of laying out the trench grid and locating it on the plan it was realized that the baseline was not properly oriented. The baseline was re-shot with the transit from fixed points. Then points were placed at E140 and E150 with the transit. A 90° angle was turned at E140 and a line south was established in order to lay out the trench boundaries.

Continued clearing grass in and around the area of R14.
