July 14, 1969

The trench was still too wet at the lower levels, but work

was resumed along the E side and at the surface levels of the SW corner. We also extended the trench by 1.0 x 5.0 m to the W making the overall dimensions 6.0 x 5.0 m. Again we found many bones as well as good pottery of which 2 boxes were collected. 8 boxes of tiles were accumulated in the course fo the day and the following:
