Work began by picking the entire trench. 1 bowl of terracotta and 1.5 boxes of pottery and bone were removed from trench. Soil remained mottled and patches of yellow soil appeared throughout. Continued picking across entire trench until yellow soil was uncovered. Recovered a piece of painted pottery and unusual piece of terracotta.
Began baulk walling entire trench, including erosion slope in the north of trench and found 1 piece of bulk bronze.
PM
Baulk walling and work on the erosion slope continued for afternoon. Another piece of bulk bronze was recovered from the northern portion of the trench. A plastic wrapper appeared at approximately 54S/175E, which serves to reinforce the decontextualization of artifacts in erosion.
