Begun cut in meter 51S161E. Uncovered a large concentration of tile fragments and large plaster pieces. The concentration extends over meters 51S161E and 52S161E. It appeared to have no architectural significance and was taken as indicative of a tile spread. The soil also changed during this cut, so locus 13 was made - the following pints for it were taken:

The soil is very rich in material: terracotta flecks, plaster flecks, bronze flecks, and white particulates.

Finished cut. Approximate closing depth for the trench is 123cm b.d. 2 1/3 cassette of terracotta and plaster were found and 1 1/2 latte boxes of bulk pottery. There were 9 special finds.
