Work continued in Trenches 18 and 19.
T-18 grids J-L/29-30:
Excavation continued in the yellow stratum, 50-60 cm below topsoil. A heavy concentration of bucchero was found in grids K-L/29-30. This area was cleared with the pottery left in place. It appears to be a fall of 3 or 4 complete bucchero bowls. Finds were entered in JN III, p. 175 .

T-19 grids J-L/34-35:
The brown soil stratum was completely cleared up to the area of the surface rocks at the north end of the trench (grid M/34-35). Work began on the harder, yellow soil stratum.
