In 2009, metals of any sort were not a numerically significant portion of the finds uncovered in Tesoro 56. Both the barbed wire & the vessel fragment were located in the baulks, but each was easily
traced to their respective loci. The barbed wire indicates that the southern portion of Locus 11 &Loci 10, 8, 9, & 5 are all backfill, but otherwise no conclusions about Tesoro-56's area of Poggio Civitate can be made on the basis of its metal finds.
