Beganclearing the floor level in meters N-M/63-64. About 1/3 latte of pottery and 1/5 cassette of pithos (rom. body) frags were lifted. Carbon was heavy both chuncks/pieces & in small areas. Samples were taken down. The only find for the morning is a a piece of terracotta which is shaped like a cover a tile, but with a V shaped application on the convex surface. Both this find & trench level are 131 cm bd.

The carbon deposits in meter K/69 were PVA\'d.
