Slag Summary

Locus # of Slag Finds Weight
1 1 <1g
2 1 <1g
3 0 0
4 0 0
5 1 25g
Baulk Trim 1 92g
Total 4 117g

T-75 produced only a few slag finds, with only 4 finds in total, none of which were catalogued. The combined weight of those four finds was 117g. However, it should be noted that the bulk of that weight came from a large fragment recovered from the baulk wall, which weighed 92 g. Locus 1 and Locus 2 both produced very small pieces of slag, each weighing less than one gram. Locus 5 also produced a piece of slag that was slightly more substantial, weighing 25g. The lack of slag finds in addition to the lack of other metal finds in the area suggests that metal working probably did not take place in the immediate vicinity of T-75.
