Work proceeded in Agger 3 as before. In addition we lifted the tiles of the tile layer and began an E-W cut 1.0 x 4.0 m at the extreme S end of the trench so as to see the profile of the agger more clearly. A total of 12 boxes fo tile was gathered, some very fine pottery, and an unusually large amount of bronze. At the S end of
the trench, the remains of an EW wall were uncoverd.
